Stambaugh Introduces Bill for Wildlife Fencing

HARRISBURG – New legislation authored by Rep. Perry Stambaugh (R-Perry/Juniata) would create a cost-share program to help farmers and foresters erect deterrent fencing to reduce crop and sapling damage from deer, bear, elk, turkeys, and other wildlife.

Schmitt Bill Aims to Protect Cemeteries from Eminent Domain

ALTOONA – To close a loophole in current law, Rep. Lou Schmitt (R-Blair) will soon introduce his Hallowed Ground Bill that would no longer allow government agencies to use eminent domain to acquire unused portions of cemeteries.
